Session 4: The Highlights

Side effects of session 4 may include:
The longing to return to camp even though it’s only been a day.
A new found habit of making the bed.
An understanding of the impact created when we put others before ourselves.
Losing your voice due to enthusiastic cheering (especially the Green team)
Sudden urges to break out into camp songs, particularly before and after meals.
Continuing to rep your color wars team, face paint and all.

Oh, what a week!  Here are the highlights of session 4:
-All four teams gave 110%, but in the end it was Yellow who brought home the trophy- Respect.
-We had the biggest polar bear hall of fame so far this summer!
-The cabin culture this session was off the charts.  We had some extra camp magic with Navajo cabin of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a troop of boyscouts in Chippewa and the Hopi Hopineers with their covered wagon.
-For five campers it was their fifth year at camp.  Congratulations, Thunderbirds!
-The Green team earned the spirit stick; what they lacked in points they made up for in passion.
-The beautiful weather meant that there was never a dull moment at the waterfront.

Of course, in order to get the best highlights and stories, you’ll have to ask your camper.
See you tomorrow, session 5!
