Looking Back On 2015

At the beginning of each new year, we like to take the opportunity to look back on the memories made and adventures had this past year.
Let’s kick it off with the results of our Year End Campaign.  This year the total amount of donations added up to [drum roll please]... $34,302!  That’s more than double the total of last year!  We are Speechless.
To everyone that donated, made phone calls, gave their time, love and support for Pendalouan,THANK YOU.
It’s the passion and commitment of donors, alumni, family and friends that gives kids the freedom, opportunity and friendship that camp can provide. These donations will go towards camperships, camp improvements and the future of Pendalouan.  Thank you again for all that you do!

2015 was a year of positive change and undying tradition, here were some of our favorite things:
-The rebuilding of Seneca, Ottawa and Hopi was announced and construction began (we’ll keep everyone in the loop).
-Wear your Camp Gear to Work/School day was one to remember.  Photos of Pendy gear came in from all over the world!  From South Africa, a day in the office, Virginia, living rooms, Germany, Chicago, Northern Michigan and Spain to name a few.  What a turn out! We can’t wait for this years batch of photos.
-Weekends at camp have been truly incredible.  Everything from Father Son camp and Family camp to preview days and school groups; we loved having you here!
-For the first time ever, we revealed the summer 2015 session themes here on the blog.  It was great seeing the costumes and accessories the campers brought from home.
-Then of course, summer 2015:  New counselors and new campers arrived on the shores of Big Blue.  Sun kissed faces and bright smiles made for one heck of a summer.

We hope you had a wonderful 2015.  Here’s to 2016!
