Five More Counselors Revealed!

In 23 days a group of enthusiastic, free spirited and dedicated camp counselors will be meeting on the deck of the lodge for their first day of Staff Orientation.  Just like all of you, they’ve been counting down the days until summer 2015!

Meet Ursula, Alex, Monti, Alexa and Georgia!

Hi everyone! My name is Ursula and I'm so excited to be back to Pendy! I've been spending my summers at Pendalouan for 7 years, but this will be my first year on staff. At home near Chicago, Illinois, you could probably find me arranging flowers for a wedding or building a set for a play at my school. I love capture the flag, big blue lake, and meeting new campers! See you soon!

Hello readers, my name is Alex! This is my very first year as a camp counselor and I am amped to meet you! I am a senior at Grand Valley State University and am getting my degree in Elementary Education, and I'm loving every minute of it. I try to spend time outside every day doing all sorts of activities (running, hiking, yoga, swimming, volleyball, soccer, you name it). I play the saxophone, I love to learn, I love to listen, and I am lucky enough to have a great family/friend support system. POPCORN is the best thing on earth. I can't wait to spend the summer at the beautiful Camp Pendalouan.

Hello Everyone! My name is Monti and this summer will be my 2nd on staff and my 11th on Big Blue Lake. I'm from Muskegon MI, I was camper until I was too old, and then was hired as a counselor! The experience has been AWESOME!  I can't wait to sing all my favorite songs, meet new people and welcome all of the new faces to Pendy. I'm so ready play some Capture the Flag, cook those great foil dinners , and mostly help make everyone's summer on Big Blue something worth remembering.  I know that this summer is going to be fantastically amazing and I'm ecstatic to be able to share fun and awesome memories with all of you!

Hey! My name is Alexa, and I'm beyond excited to begin my first year at Camp Pendalouan!  In the fall I plan on attending Ferris State University up in Big Rapids.  I enjoy hiking, hammocking, and being outdoors in general.  But indoors I love reading, watching sci-fi movies, and playing cards! I'm looking forward to making so many new friends and having amazing adventures this summer on Big Blue.  I'm so excited to meet everyone!

Hey everyone! My name is Georgia and this will be my 4th year on staff, but my 8th year at camp Pendy. I am a junior at the School of the Art Institute with a focus in sculpture and performance. I am so excited to be back at camp, swimming in Big Blue Lake, singing camp songs, and being in the sun. In my free time I love to go on walks, explore Chicago, and eat good food! I am so excited to make new friends and new memories with you all! Camp is the highlight of my year and I've been counting down the days! I am so excited for Summer 2015 to begin!

Summer 2015 is so close we can almost taste the foil dinners!
