Meet the Summer 2013 Staff: Part 7

We are SO close to summer!

This week is our last week of school groups coming out for our Outdoor Education programs. It is also the beginning of our Summer Staff Trainings! This week our Support Staff are meeting to put the final touches on Pre-Summer plans and our Lifeguards are going through their week long training. It's a busy week at Pendalouan!

And in less than 7 days, our full Summer 2013 Staff will join together on the shores of Big Blue Lake for our  Staff Orientation week. These four staff members will be there! Have you met them yet? Please join me in welcoming Ryan, Georgia, Nick and Baylee!

Hey Everyone! My name is Ryan, and I call Reese, MI my hometown. This will be my first summer working at Camp Pendalouan. I am currently studying at Alma College and just finished my freshman year there. I enjoy running cross country and track, the outdoors, reading, and music. I’m looking forward the most to bonfires, meeting new people, and having a great time with campers!! Summer can’t get here soon enough! Hail Pendalouan!

Hey guys! My name is Georgia and this will be my second year working at camp, but my 6th summer spent with the Pendalouan family! I am currently a senior at Lyons Township High School in Illinois with plans to head to The School of the Art Institute next fall! I have been counting down the days until summer and, of course, camp! I cannot wait for it to begin again. This summer I am looking forward to going to the sandbar, playing capture the flag, singing camp songs, and swimming in the beautiful Big Blue Lake! I am so excited to meet new friends and create new memories at camp! Last summer was one of the greatest summers I have ever had and I plan to make this one even better. I can't wait to meet all of you! See you soon!

Hello every one! My name is Nick and I am super excited to be returning to the shores of Big Blue Lake for my second year at Camp Pendalouan. I just finished my fourth year at Western Michigan University studying Physics Education and will be starting my student teaching in the fall. When I’m not solving for the trajectory of catapults or playing with magnets, I enjoy playing guitar, banjo, disc golf, hiking and whatnot. I can’t wait to see you all this summer!

Hey everyone, it's me, Baylee. I can't wait to return to the shores of Big Blue Lake for my 11th year at Pendalouan. I love everything campy, especially singing songs, eating foil dinners, swimming, and playing Capture the Flag! If I'm not down at the waterfront, chances are you will find me in the Trading Post dancing like it's nobody's business. As I am finishing up my first year at Furman University, all I can think about is this summer and how amazing it is going to be with all of you. See you soon!

We are excited to have Baylee, Georgia, and Nick back on staff and are thrilled to welcome Ryan to the team. Have you made sure that you child is signed up for Pendalouan Day or Overnight Camp? Waiting lists are forming for many of our sessions. Register today!
