Introducing... THE SUMMER 2011 STAFF

The time has finally arrived! Prepare yourself, because starting TODAY, the blog will be introducing Camp Pendalouan's Summer 2011 Staff!

I hope you are as excited as I am to see familiar and new faces. We have an awesome crew this year who cannot wait for summer.
So without further ado... your Summer 2011 YMCA Camp Pendalouan Staff!

First, let's meet our Summer 2011 Program Director, Mark Olson:
A BIG PENDALOUAN HELLO from Northfield, Minnesota!! My name is Mark and I am thrilled to be coming back to camp as this summer's Program Director. This summer will mark my 13th year at Camp Pendalouan! I was a camper for 7 years, and this will be my 6th year as a staff member. I am from Oak Park, Illinois which is right outside of Chicago. I go to college in Minnesota, which is all the way on the other side of Lake Michigan! My favorite things about Pendalouan are Kitchen Staff Parades, Sailing and canoeing on Big Blue Lake, hiking to Sleepy Hollow, and Capture the Flag. Campfires, smores, and singing to Mr. Moon also help me get through the school year. Summer 2011 will be like no other! Can't wait to see you on the shores of Big Blue Lake!
Next up is Tim Mathieu, our Summer 2011 Waterfront Director:
Hi Everybody! My name is Tim and I am excited to be back at Camp Pendalouan for another summer. This will be my sixth summer working at Pendalouan, my second summer working as the waterfront director. While I'm not down at the waterfront I love to go on a rustic bike ride or relax on hammock hill. I'm looking forward to seeing you all there for another adventure packed summer so be sure to register soon!

With March ending, Pendalouan's Staff Training is only 65 days away! That means Session 1 is only 72 days away! Call camp today or head to Pendalouan's website to register for any session this summer and check back here, The Pendalouan Blog, often to meet more staff members!
